re payment advice

Would anyone know
I wound up a business in 2003 and have been paying debt back ever since.
Still left is VAT bill which i'm scraping off at 50 quid a month.
However more troubling is ccj i got for bus rates. should i pay it off or is there a length of time wherby this is wiped out and i am clear?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Wow i have been so niave paying people back for the last four years and yet still sinking. From what you say even paying back these debts in full, after completion i will still have no chance of getting a mortgage or even getting a healthy credit score. Thanks anyway
