Another clock radio bargain

Just found this while searching for a more detailed description of one I was watching on Ebay (we all do it!):

Roberts_Radio_CR9971

P&P is only £1.99, so £11.98 all in - cracking deal IMHO. Shame it's not got LW, but still too good to pass up.

I think what you're missing is the motivation of selling your radio on ebay:D

  • There are clock radios and there are clock radios. This one is a ROBERTS, one of the best radio companies there are. Also sets itself. For me that would be the biggest selling point. NEVER EVER need to worry about power cuts as it will automatically re-set itself when the power comes back on. as well as never needing to worry about when the clocks go forward or back as it sorts that out too!

If I did not already have something similar I would get one myself.

    Me too!
New poster and an ebay link - just looked a bit iffy.
Between all the posters who want to make sure we all get a free 32"tv, i-pod nano etc and the nice man who wants us all to go to heaven with him (although hopefully he will go first and report back), it's hard not to be cynical at times:confused:

Sorry if I got the wrong end of the stick

  • Thanks consumermonkey - I have learnt not to rise to misinformed posts myself. I appreciate some people are more interested in adding to their post count than getting their facts right - fair play to them.

As well as being part of the Roberts 'Set For Life' range, it is also a dual alarm device (which I need), a feature you tend not to find on cheaper units.

The link I posted isn't to Ebay, but directly to the vendor offering the deal - I hope others find it useful.

    :)

EDIT: I thought I posted this in Grabbit - did it get moved, and if so why?

I didn't think your post was iffy, it just lacked any info as to why you felt it was such a bargain, I have never heard of Roberts Radio and I bet I'm not alone.
I don't think MSE members are interested in getting their post counts up, there's nothing to gain from it.

I'd say your post was moved to the Shop but don't drop section because like me, it wasn't understood by all what was meant to be so good about it.
