price alerting apps: Amazon

So I regularly need to buy certain garden chemicals.
I love using amazon.
These products are seasonal and the price can vary quite considerably over the course of a year.
For example I purchased several bags of lawn feed for £15 each when they normally sell nearer £25 each.
I am not inclined to keep checking the price and would love something that would alert me to a price drop on a particular item.
I understand there are apps that do this but would really like some direction and recommendation here.
Any help will be much appreciated.

camelcamelcamel is awesome! You can set up e-mail alerts to tell you when the price gets near what you want to pay. I've had my eye on a set of headphones that I saw at £14 when I had no money. When I did have money to pay for it they went up to £23 so set up an alert. They're slowly getting down to the price I want them for now =]0
