Hey fire**fly...did you watch the one show? There was some squirrels pinching nuts from gardens! I thought of you! They gave the owner a special type of nut feeder which would take ages for the squirrel to pinch the nuts from.

Sue, hope you get your washer sorted out. If its anything like my house, the washer goes, then the fridge.....etc!

Sheils, I didn't see the jimmy saville documentary. I know this sounds awful but I'm sick of listening about the sicko on the news and it angers me that nothing else has been said about the poor 5 yr old girl who went missing.

Had a busy sort of day today. Had to go into school for a meeting about DD, then I was on a course and then got a call about son to say there had been an incident in school too so had to go up school!
No wins or post but I've had an email to do another survey for a £5 love to shop voucher

Had wedding invite from my old uni housemate today. Would love to go but may be tricky to get there and back as its in Bath not sure what to do as i am off the day of wedding but supposed to be working the day after befroe bein off for a week.

Hope everything went well at the school wingo. Hated having to go in for DS2 & DS3 as they were always doing something wrong, usually fighting or being lazy.

For some reason they seem to be fairly sure the little girl has been killed. We saw one or two pink ribbons out for her in S.Wales when we were there.
I am sick of seeing Savile's pics on the news and internet. I never ever liked him before - didn't used to watch TOTPs when he was doing it. BBC seems to be in bother now over things which that documentary was about last night.

My BIL works for tv licencing and he has had a letter that if a customer asks about j.saville...he has to say he doesn't know anything about it! He always looked creepy but I can't understand why folks haven't come forward before he died...I know a couple did but now they're looking at 200 cases! :eek:

It's weird but looking at the news lately I feel like I've lost a week or two somewhere. It seems like one minute someone accuses Savile of abuse, the next there's a huge furore and enquiries right left and centre. Don't get me wrong, I never did like him and thought there was something creepy about him, but why aren't the news, papers etc saying 'alleged' abuse. I thought this Country advocated innocent until proven guilty?

It's a similar thing with poor little April. One minute they're out searching for her, the next someone is arrested and charged with murder?

They have too much evidence I think Sue. Different police forces have had complaints over the years and the cases have always been dropped. There seem to be witnesses too to things. It is all so shocking the way he targeted the girls from homes so they would never be believed and punished for lying. Lots of nurses at the hospitals seem to have reported him as well and nothing happened.
