Morning all (just), we've been painting a wall in the hallway this morning, we had to have a new radiator when the boiler was replaced and it was smaller than the other one. It's a job we've been putting off but it took no time at all once we started, silly really.

Sorry you're not feeling well wingo, hope it soon passes. I used to get bad heads too but they stopped a few years ago thank goodness.

The thaw has really kicked in now, it's dripping everywhere and the sun is out so hopefully it will soon be gone. They have said we might get more at the end of the week, hope they're wrong.

Right, must get some comping done, have a lucky day all. xx

Internet is still on and off - tried this morn to click back on thanks and it took a good hour + - had to keep refreshing etc and sorting router thing. It's starting to annoy now - may have to bite the bullet and get a new router wifi magic box plug in thingy (whatever they are called :rotfl::rotfl:) Wish I had the knowledge

Stokie - yes, you did a post earlier cos I managed to thank it - then it disappeared!! Thought it was there, then it wasn't, don't know where it went.

I managed to get out for a nice drive this morn in my wee car. Hadn't been out (due to awful weather conditions) since neighbour sorted battery etc but this morn was better weather wise, sun was peeping through, though still blooming cold!!!

No ice on roads now and managed a lovely hour of driving out and about giving the car a good run (also stopped off to lovely farm shop and stocked up on some local goodies) - however pleased I'm back home now cos dark clouds are looming - it's looking a bit errrm manky now :eek:.

I'm copying this now before I post it just incase the internet goes again!!!!

Just been out for a nice walk and had to go and get some more milk on the way home.

DH is making me a bacon omlette - I am starving after the walk!

Must finish the Dailies too Sylvia. I don't feel like doing much on FB at the moment as although it is my only account and obviously genuine I don't trust them not to block it. Only have my MSE friends on it but it would annoy me if I
didn't have it.

Sheils - being careful on the dailies but I think its more the peeps who do loads of l/s comps that are having the biggest problems and those with lots of peeps on their accouns (I think). I only have some family on and a few peeps from here. Fingers crossed anyway.

Don't really do any shares with the Dailies now Sylvia. Since they all put up their entry amounts there is usually plenty for me without doing that. Will do them on Twitter if I need to though.

Oh yes, it's lovely to have me independence once more with my wee car - good to be out and about without relying on too many peeps (or the buses, which don't go where I want them to go ), even tho most peeps have been so very kind to me. It's just fairly perked me up now I am feeling so well again.

Will still be out walking locally (weather permitting) because the exercise is so good and also have many local friends I meet en route (some disabled, some elderly, some younger, doggie walkers - a good bunch of people) and I would miss their friendship, smiles, chatter/gossip - you know ..... putting the world to rights :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

There is nothing like a good gossip!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
