Morning!

Another cold start here but looks like the sun is coming out.
Think we are having a day out today. I say a day out but it does include visiting Sainsburys, Aldi and DH going to a book shop to sell some books. DH is gradually reducing his book collection as we really don't have space for them all and he is scared if anything happened to him I would put them all in a skip He was a bit of a railway enthusiast so there are lots of those kind of books. Going to take a picnic and go for a walk anyway if we go.

Good morning everyone!!!!

Have a good day sheils - not sure what weather is doing today but my goodness it was chilly through the night brrrrrrrrr :eek: Even the cat found an entry space to get under the duvet to keep warm! Think it's set to get colder again by end of week.

May do a bit of gardening today, depending on weather, not sure yet.

Very Frosty here but lovely sunny day. Have to take dogs to the parlour today for a cut and blow dry. Must go up and put Lottie in the shower as I wash her before she goes as she only has a trim. £25 for Suckie and £15 for Lottie. Its dear does having long haired dogs I can tell you.

Thanks for the comp Becks, not good at those sort but good luck with yours, and your Sheils.

Firefly - Should be turning our heat down too but its rather cold at the moment.

Sheils - hope you have a lovely day and that DH gets what he wants for his books. Enjoy your picic.

Alfie - you will never get the spade in the ground today if your weather is anything like ours. Be careful anyway.

You are not going to believe this but I have opened my mail and I have a £100 cheque!!!!!!! (Knew you wouldn't mind me borrowing this FF)
It says it is from The National Magazine Co. and says Hearst Magazines UK. Not sure which comp it will be from. Do you have any idea FF as I know you are into your mags?

I am quite new to comping(about a month) and have entered 200+ comps in that time,mostly using the Prize Finder site but have won diddly squat!!! Is there anything I can do to try and increase my win rate?

Welcome bluesntwas14 - WELCOME, someone will be along soon no doubt to point you in the right direction to Velvet Glove's post at the top of the board as you come on to the posts. I am not good at posting links myself. Everything you need to know is there and well worth the time reading through. You will find all the good comps on MSE so its best if you don't go to other sites as you are then in danger of doing them twice and maybe disqualify your entry. All the best.

Its very cold here this morning, ground frost but the sun is glaring in the sky so hope it will warm up. Still busy around the house so just wanted to say hello and have a lucky day everyone :A
