Ah right. It's quite different here, I know the govt are having a big shake up on GCSE's making them much harder. A family member who is in a special needs class, hasn't been taught any GCSE's maths but still has to sit the same exam. It's just not right that she is going to have a fail on her certificate.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0

Ellem/Sheils/Wingo well done on your post today. Sorry yours is blue and too big Firefly, I am sure it will come in for someone or one of the raffles at your complex though.
Wingo - our kids cinema is about 3.50 for adult and 3.50 for kids but there is only one on and it cancelled today for some reason. Think its because its mainly theatre and only limited cinema. Could do with extending it really. Its sad when they make children with special needs take the same exams and not at all fair on them either. Our GS is at a special school and hope he doesn't have to take them when he is older. He is really happy there as he didn't want to go to school at all when he was in main stream.
Sheils - exams system seems complicated in your neck of the woods. Glad DD had a good time at her dance.
GD has been on the wii most of the morning and is just going in the shower then we are taking her to Brewsters.
SYLBIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

Oh! that's not right.
I am a wee bit lost now on all the exam things. Thank goodness my kids are over that stage of their lives. However I must take an interest with it all, future generations, wee alfie grand children etc. xxxxxxxx MILITARY WIVES CHOIRSHELP for HEROES

Morning all, or should I say afternoon
Popped to Morrison's this morning for a few bits that Tesco don't do and came back to the foundation and mascara that I won on the Wilkinson's Twitter comp and a Tea Towel and Oven Glove from the Franke UK Facebook comp that I didn't know I'd won, so that was nice. Just going to make some vegetable soup now then a nice afternoon comping while DH sleeps, he's just done his last night shift and is off until Friday night now.
