hiya, yes, but when i press the option for not receiving pm's
Enable Private Messaging
all the form goes faded & it doesn't let me
have the option for
Receive Private Messages only from Contacts and Moderators

That doesn't happen for me. I tried it out to make sure and I can click any option individually, without it affecting the others. Must be a glitch. Worth reporting perhaps?

I want to say more about what is going on, and how angry I am about it - at the bullies. But I don't know whether you would want that kept private, so I will sit on my anger until you're ready to perhaps talk about anything we can do to fight it? XXX

fire**fly I did not know you were having trouble with the bullies too. It makes me very sad to hear this.

I hope mse can do find out who these people are and block their isp (?) addresses from this site.

hiya, i'd pm'd chrissie before turning off my pm's as wanted to check she was ok & me posting the tab in her absence as she'd been offline, we'd always helped/pm'd each other before & then chrissie came online but didn't pm me back so i assumed she didn't want to then when i posted the first tab in chrissie's absence i had pm's one after the other from the ae trolls so i disabled the pm option,
reading through todays postings it seems a lot of us have been targeted by them, i also used to get them ages ago when posting the mag comps before, so i assume it's someone/s who doesn't like me posting them they also use the words 'get a life' etc & each time it's a different name/newbie which we know must be an old member/s using ae's,
there's a lot of things that happen but i don't want any more to do with having to worry any more with receiving horrible pm's, i'd just like to get on enjoying entering comps, sometimes posting comps & joining in the inn, lol cats & the boards i enjoy,
if chrissie is back & in touch with you & wishes to resume the tabs i'm realy grateful as was just trying not to let anyone miss out entering them while we didn't know what was happening with her, please if you're in touch with her tell her i'm very happy to leave them for her to do

More than anything, I get from you that you've had enough and just want to be left in peace. Hard for me, cos I want to go and fight 'em all - you know what I'm like by now

I think it's vital to play it your way, at least until/unless you feel ready to come back fighting. If you do, let me know. I was thinking that the way I would deal with this if it happened to me, which I'm sure it will sometime, is that I would post all the nasty messages on Comping Chat Corner so that the bullies/trolls/cowards will get to see what everyone thinks of them. But that's me, and that's also me from the outside. Perhaps it would be different if it happened to me.

Meanwhile, just be who you are. You are very supported here, and don't let a few nasties ruin that. I'll sign off now and leave you in peace. You know where I am hun...
