Afternoon all, very wet here today
Had a couple of wins to start February off. A cookbook of Indian meals arrived this morning from DK Books and I had a DM from Wilkinsons to say that I had won from their Twitter comp, a mascara and foundation. A nice start to February.
Just had words with DH so he's flounced off upstairs out of the way. Men, they're just like big kids at times  Should be a quiet afternoon.
Hope your DD is feeling better soon wingo, you're having a rough time of it lately with illness, big hugs xxLuck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

I haven't even started comping yet, it's taking forever to bookmark the new comps posted so that I can enter them in date order. I hate the changeLuck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Just redeemed my first Rewards deal. (never have enough as the statement always carves up the points in Tesco's favour!) Good deal £2.50 for £10.47 max
I tend to ignore Hotmail Microsoft emails as never know if fake. Pointing the cursor doesn't really help.0 -
Do you get times when you get really peed off!!!!!
Having a rant!!!!!
I have a tree in the garden, I think its called a peach. Been here for years, had peach leaf curl for as long as I can recall. It's fairly spindly and obviously on its way out, has been for years, dying off big time. Not very tall and very thin trunk. No good to man, beast or bird!!!!
Been asking for quotes: bearing in mind I'm on my own - to cut it down estimates came between £100-£200!!!!!!!!!!! :eek: Blood suckers!!!!! Do they think that I am a complete idiot!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
They can stuff that!!!!!! Told them to sling their hook!!!!
I have an electric saw in my garage and I shall be tackling it when weather improves. Only have to take it down at the base and then cut the spindly branches. These people make me sick - I feel sorry for peeps that are taken in!!!!!! I would like to name, shame them and call them all the names under the sun, but alfie is being polite on this occasion!!!! Cos I'm an :A :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:MILITARY WIVES CHOIRSHELP for HEROES0 -
Sorry for the rant
Its just makes me so mad and upset the way they think they can rip peeps off.!!! Do they really think because you are on your own you have become ga-ga!!!!!! Anyhow, they came up against Alfie ........ and I think they met their match :rotfl::rotfl:
Can't be bothered to get any more quotes, as can do it myself. I will promise I will not need a ladder (learned my lesson there). Wee tree will be easy to take down and it won't leave a gap as i have beautiful bamboo plants growing behind it - Love my bamboo plants and have yukka plants also and many other tropical plants growing inbetween. All will be well. Sod the rip off merchants, they picked on the wrong person!!!!!xxxxxxx
