Sheils I agree with you. I find it hard to get going esp after doing all the Advents. (only 1/2 way with the Advents & around a day behind of others)

Just thought I would send you a few more B.Sue. Fred said can you send him a pd (personal delivery) on Christmas morning but says will you remember to cook them first lol

Went shopping and got back to a Royal Mail card saying a small brown box has come. Haven't a clue what it is and can't get it till Monday.

DD and I had mushrooms on toast for lunch, they were really nice too. Sylvia tell Fred that I would willingly bring him some. We have the full monty at about 10:30, bacon, chipolatas, eggs, fried bread, mushrooms & tomatoes, then we don't eat again until about 5:00 and it's cold meats and cheese. We have our main meal on Boxing Day but I cook all of the meat on Christmas Eve, it's easier to carve when it's cold then I heat it in gravy in the oven so it's lovely and moist, I'm making my mouth water here.

Sounds lovely Sue, wish I could leave it till Boxing Day but DD & her OH and 3DKG + Sister (hopefully if she is out of hospital) will all be round for Christmas lunch.

hope all is well,I am safe from the floods Wingo dont worry I have been so busy from one carol service to another I have had a lovely time with lots of christmas events its winding down now though,out tonight to Karioke,dont usually go on Saturday evenings but its my friend running it as shes the dj and I like to see her

I had a good time on Thursday night at the pub doing Karioke etc I won in the draw of a box of chocolates,all gone now between my friends on Thursday night and then my parents and my sister today gave another friend a christmas present as I had also won a mans gift set from Gillette
