thanks for the cake FF, especially as its low calorie.

B.Sue, glad he is settling in Ok. We always buy the dried food, we use James Well beloved dried food, I know its expensive, we usually wait until its on offer, we were told that the cheaper the food the more poo to expect, dont know how true it is lol, they don't need so much either so thats probably got something to do with it as well. So envious of you its lovely having a pup about. Enjoy him while he is small. Lottie fit nicely in the palm of one hand we got her.

Thanks for the heads up on the Times whiskey comp SueM. Not sure I could drink it at that price I would feel guilty, not that I like whiskey but DD does.

I got him some dried food today Sylvia, it's specially for large Breed puppies. I had originally bought canned because that's what he was being fed at hid birth home, but he goes through it so quickly it's gone in seconds, but then I suppose he's had 8 weeks of fighting for every mouthful. The man in the shop suggested putting a little canned food along with the dry and changing him over gradually. It worked at lunchtime, he ate the lot and has slept for 2 hours now. He was also still on puppy milk which I thought he would have been weaned off by 8 weeks, the man in the shop suggested watering the milk down gradually until he was off it and on to water.

They didn't sleep together last night, Finlay was in his cage, but it was right next to Cooper.

Sounds like you have got it cracked then B.Sue. When we had Lottie she was being fed on the cheap meat you buy in a roll, cant remember what its called now. She won't even touch tinned meat now, we tried her on it again when she had her bits removed as was trying to tempt her to eat. Glad he is getting on with Cooper thats fantastic.

Sorry you missed some of the Times comp Becks and hope you have a good day at work.

That would be lovely if you won some whiskey for the DH Sheils he would soon drink it. My DH loves rum but only has it at Christmas.

Better get and do the next one the buzzer has just gone off

Finlay was on DDs lap and started chewing her jumper, I said "If he starts chewing something he shouldn't, put him down", she said "That's a bit harsh Mum" :p :rotfl:

OMG FireFly - I dont usually like the game ones, they seem to tie my stomach in knotts but this is just up my street. Have only managed one so far but have knotted so many b****y bricks off the chimney already lol. DH is on to it now as well. If we miss the Times Comp now I will know exactly who to blame he he
