Morning everyone,

Wind and rain have stopped here for the moment - wonder if we will actually get out of the house today. DD is off to Glasgow with the Geography Dept so hope the roads are OK. Most of the way is motorway so hopefully be OK once they get to it. This area has been quite badly affected but our town has been OK. DS3 has 2 days off - his first for a while as he doesn't get the same days every week so he is ready for them.

I am getting "Fifty Shades of Grey" for Xmas wingo - hope it is good!
I am always late getting things.
Looking forward to the little cake thanks FF, although the fruit salad would probably be better for me.
Must get on.

Just dropped by for a quick hello. Off down to .......(sorry can't say where) to see my daughter as its granddaughter's birthday party tomorrow. Will be back Sunday night. Just hope the journey is Ok.


DH wants to know if I will stop at the service station on the way back on Sunday so he can do the hourly comp! How sad is that?

Wind and rained calmed down and its a lovely clear day for now. Can't see it lasting though.

Friday means lunch at MIL's so have to leave the house earlier today so I have time to sit and chat with MIL.

Hope everyone has a good day. I am very tired as hubby had a bad night. He was still watching films at 5 amthat i know of!

I've just posted tomorrow's Times hourly which is for £250 of Amazon vouchers. It's here and will add more information as it becomes available.

Weather has been wet and windy here for the past couple of days, but the rain stopped briefly on Tuesday afternoon and this was the view from the back of my house
