Just realised it is Thanksgiving day! Postman just brought some Xmas prezzies I ordered - all soaking wet including the corner of an Amazon book. Wish Amazon would pack books better. He brought the Maoam Stripes too which will be put away for kids stockings. Photos have arrived too so that will give DH something to do putting them in new album!

At the moment I have a grumpy husband cos of the weather - he keeps going on about Tenerife and a stressed daughter as she has loads of prelims coming up. Really don't know why Scotland decided the kids had to do exams earlier. She has to do an Interim 2 Maths exam 2 years earlier than others did a few years ago and has found it hard as maths isn't her best subject and they wouldn't let her move down. Don't know what the rush is unless you happen to be a genius. Anyway moan over - just trying to get comping fairy's sympathy!

Wingo - Sorry your DH has to work on Christmas Day & Boxing Day, thats a bit rough especially when you have kids. Glad DD is better and hope DS is OK with the blood test.

Morning all



Have a comping day today, DH is in bed between nights. Not sure how much sleep he will get though as the builders are here this morning. Our rendering had 2 big bubbles in it where the rain had got behind it so they've knocked that down and are replacing it. Wish I'd moved my car first, black cars and cement dust are not a good mix

Hope the goody bag comes today, I'm trying not to get too excited in case it's not the one that Becks found.

Well postie has been. He has bought another waterstones book thanks sheils . Think MIL can have that one in her christmas prezzie and then she can tell me what to write in the review :rotfl:

Also bought PART of my poppy cat win. The letter however seems to suggest thats it. I have mailled who I was given as a contact in my winners email and copied in whats on tv so will see if anyone gets back to me

Can someone have a read of that and tell me if there is something I am missing where it says it is one prize from those listed THIS COMP

I read it as you get a pack containing all of the items, it certainly doesn't say you only get one thing.

Thanks Sue thats how i read it so have just enquired if the rest will follow as letter included says "well done you have won a jigsaw"

Had a quick response to my query they say it is dispatched separately so have wrote back to say thank you and was just checking as the wording of the letter seemed odd. Don't think they will mind a polite query i always feel a bit cheeky asking
