Did I read somewhere that there were more berries around this year? That's normally an indicator of a harsh winter isn't it?



We had 2 harsh snowy winters when I didn't any Yaktrax shoe grips. Last year no snow when I finally got them!!!

Just popped in to say a big :wave: to you all, I have had some lovely pm's lately and I am getting on here a little more these days. Both my ops were successful but left me with painful nerve damage but my doc has tried me on a slow release medication and it's definitely helping

I now have a dilemma. The Daily win that I was saying hadn't arrived was a box of eyeshadows which could have been in one of two colourways. Today I had 2 identical envelopes arrive and each one was the eyeshadows from the same comp but in each of the colours.......what would you do?

Have had this happen a couple of times last few months, received 3 seperate envelopes, all identical including the labels with 3 identical DVD's no idea where from though. Then last month from the dailies, got 2 handwritten envelopes each containing same prize.
Have to admit, I kept them, me bad :eek:

What a journey from hell that was nice to be home (well glad the journey has finished not happy to leave my little 'family' , not happy to come home to an empty flat until monday and not happy to come home to a sink of dishes)

Had a great time with bestie and the family. I really feel now like part of their extended family. Was quite sad to leave this morning and then the journey back was a complete disaster so got me very stressed

Looking forward to seeing hubby though on Monday

Ohh yes... Got a couple of wins to add to my list. I came home to find I had won a book (and my mum also wona copy as i nominated her) and also have won four tickets from Smooth Radio to Monkey Forest which is not far from us so very useful especially as they don't have an expiry date

i had 2 sets of the OPI nail polish sets sent, debated for ages wether to let them know & return but in the end kept them both
& gave one as a pressie to someone, didn't feel so bad after that :)
