Well DS3 is back at work and DD went into school this afternoon to get organised for a cooking Prelim she has on Friday so things are getting back to normal although they still aren't themselves. The main hospital in the area has had to shut wards too because of the bug. Hope everyone here are OK.
There seem to be so many comps on the go just now - no chance of keeping up!

I have had a lovely day today,I am fine,Went to my Walking Group then had a nice walk and a hot chocolate which was lovely.

Been to my parents for lunch and then came home and had a sleep as I was tired.

know what you mean about the comps :eek:
have been trying to remember the poster who used to post loads of comps on here & had the sig 'to many comps, not enough time'
in thier sig, something like chickarooni or something
been looking through members list but must be spelling it wrong 'cause can't find it, was remembering when we all nattered in here then saw her come on & i used to panick & say i was off out the inn 'cause she was posting all her comps :eek::D would be lovely to know if she's still about/ok,

Schwartz have competition!
Sometimes I buy freshly picked or potted herbs. I chop and freeze occasionally.

I can't hear the chocolate cries to be eaten! (I have been good, no choc again today! Shall I have a reward?? WHAT ??)

That must have been before my time in here FF. It will soon be 3 years since I officially joined. Can't remember what I did with all my time before! My first decent win was a family ticket to "Beauty & The Beast" in Edinburgh. It was really DD who won it as I entered her name on an STV Comp. Nearly didn't get it either as the person supposed to phone me didn't and I didn't know how to chase it up.

How do you freeze herbs etc - do you have to do anything to them first?

Just chop and drop into a little freezer bag. (It worked ok with Mint / Corriander) I was surprised how it was so easy. (read it MSE or packet)

Hi guys, sorry haven't been in here to say hi for a couple of days - dunno where the time goes cos my house is still messy, been living off leftovers from the freezer for days and I still feel like a headless chicken!!

Hope you guys saw the post about my win on the IWIWIW. It was my first ever WTC! I still like grinning everytime I remember the call. The first thing she said was 'do you remember entering a competition on Friday?' and I was thinking, 'lady, you have NO idea how many competitions I entered on Friday' :rotfl:

It's a trip for two to London, staying at 5* hotel, climbing the o2, cable car ride and a West End film premiere. My sister has threatened to tie my husband up if he even thinks about going because she's called dibs, lol.
