I know what you mean Alfie, my jasper can be a real pain at times but he is loving and funny and me & kids couldn't be without him now. He is one yr old today so kids have made signs for him and stuck them round the house!

Sheils, I bought a sun paper today and there is a big page saying ...selection boxes buy one get two free! The same ones they had as get one free yesterday! I think they made a mistake as when I asked manageress if they were gonna be two free, she abruptly asked who told me that! (Annoyed now)

Took jasper for a long walk in woods and he's tired out now
Gonna pop to mams before getting DD2 and taking her to street dance then pick DD1 up for her first drama class (that should build her confidence) and DS has a school rugby tournament! At some point I'm popping to toys r us to get a Xmas pressie I reserved too!

Have found a comp in the Style City Mag pushed through the door, have serched and cant find it, maybe someone can check it out for me, PLEASE. It for a 1 night stay at Ramside Hall Hotel, Durham, including dinner and breakfast. end date 29th Nov. Sorry to ask but never posted a comp and dont want to dupe.


Lady M - hope you are feeling better, had my flue jab last week and didnt feel good, had pneumonia jab Tuesday and feel awful today, arm swollen and red, aching everywhere.

Just got back from a few hours out with the boys to find an alphablocks mag on the mat, no idea where thats from as the only comp i can find was ages ago! Ah well 2 happy toddlers at the moment giving mummy 5 minutes peace :rotfl:

Anyone else had any nice surprises in the post?

Completely off topic of competitions, and not a win, but I am so excited! I am having stair and landing carpet as a Xmas pressie off my great aunt (who's more like my mum).
Nothing to get excited about you may think, but I have had bare stairs & landing for 4 years, not a single carpet in house as youngest is autistic with an affinity for relieving himself anywhere & everywhere. Laminate everywhere as it could be easily cleaned.
So thrilled as I will now be able to open front door more than 2 inches when someone calls, as I have been too embarrassed to up until now because it looks so shabby! xx
