when went to the food festival for the day (won the tickets :j) i bought home some homemade chutneys/pickles/relishes etc & was supposed to be saving them for christmas/new year but have opened a couple of them :eek::o:D

Sorry folks this morning just seems to have slipped by. Decided I would take myself out for a coffee/toast at Sainsbury's as its miserable and raining here and needed to cheer myself up.


DH keeps pinching my laptop as he says its quicker than his LOL

We had a wet morning but been dry so far this afternoon so been out for a quick walk with DH to keep him happy! Internet working Ok now thank goodness. We have an enormous pork roast in the oven which was reduced to £5.60 in Co-op. It will do 2 days and probably freeze some too. Got so many reduced things it was embarasing to go to check out I had a £2 off voucher too. Love saving money.
Glad you had a nice snack in Sainsburys Sylvia.

Nothing to speak of in the post here today

DH went into town late morning and came back with Fish & Chips, so a night without cooking for me, that's a treat. We watched a DVD that someone at work lent him after lunch, OMG it was good. The language was absolutely appalling but the story was brilliant, it's called Harry Brown and stars Michael Caine, anyone seen it?

Oh Sheils, my mouth is watering. We have been getting some lovely cheap port from Morrisons it makes a lovely roast.

My fish and chips last night was lovely!

Tonight is freezer night because I'm going to Mom's tomorrow and fully expecting a slaptastic dinner.

Have comped on and off so far today. Up to the 9th so making headway. Want to get up to the 15th, but realistically aiming for at least until 12th tonight.

I need to start an advent chart so I have it all ready for 1st Dec, but no idea how to do it.
