i regularly get boils on either my neck or behind my ears. My health is pretty ok so I am not concerned in that regard but are they (ahem - choke) caused by dirt or blocked pores?! My personal hygiene is very good so why do I keep getting them!?

I suggest you talk to your GP. Recurrent boils can be a sign of diabetes, might be worth getting your blood sugar checked.0 -

I thought these antiseptic soaps and body washes stripped your bodies' flora and fauna and thus did more harm than good?
I would see your GP so that they can be checked out xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
I've heard that you can be prone to boils if you've been on anti-biotics. Also I've been told it can be a lack of vitamin B. But as everyone says, go to the doc.No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0
