As oer the title, what else can i do- really need a job?!
I am applying for as many jobs as possible, including ones that i dont really have an interest in, just because i need to work.
I have done everything thats been suggested of me, such as updating my CV, changing my CV for different jobs, looking further afield, etc etc...but i still dont have a job!
Please can you give me some advice-what else can i do??

Hugs from this way x
Have you thought of temping short term - might 'get your foot in the door' that way and earn some cash/gives chance to get you shining!
Don't give up! anything can happen I always think job offers are like buses really all arrive at once!0 -
Thanks, i hope you are right.
there isnt much call for temp work around here to be honest, and it would much up my benefits for the sake of a few weeks work.
I just need something full time and permanent, not too much to ask surely?0 -

Lots of employers are starting to take on for christmas now. It doesnt guarantee permanent employment after but there's always a chance if you work hard. I did a xmas temp job at waterstones last year and was offered a perm role but couldnt take it because of uni commitments. So it certainly happens.
I've just been offered a job today after being unemployed for 2 months so i can certainly sympathise with you and it shows that if you stick it out something will come your way.
Good luck!0 -
What qualifications and experience do you have? What jobs are you trying to get?0

Easy to say but try not to get too down-hearted, you WILL get a job and I applaud you for trying so hard, the media would have us believe most of the UK population would rather live on benefits than get a job - a myth of course but it just fuels our doom and gloom.
I don't know if it will help as I don't know what you're applying for and what you've been sending out - it may be that your CV is great but your competition is tough - but if you'd like me to take a look at it to see if I can rework it for you my email is ld@4vve.com. I write CVs professionally but this is a genuine offer to HELP not to charge
You never know and it won't cost you - it's just nice to be able to use one's skills to help others, outside of the day job IYKWIM! You want to get out of debt, you've got to have an income after all!
GL either way, just don't give up!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Also be willing to do voluntary work to bulk your CV if you don't have lot of employment experience.0
