Today is a good day :)

According to my Microsoft Money ( godsend ) if i stick to my very tight budget, including my current debt repayments, this time next year barring unforseen bills i will have £2680 in my current account.

I will by then only have 2 credit cards left with balances of £1415 and £2123, meaning that i will be able to overpay in the months to come :)

My current debt free date is 9th Sept 2009 already bought down with the help of everyone here from Sept 2011 !!

Im now hoping to smash this and pay everything off by the end of 2008 - what do you guys think ?

Bravo, that's an inspiration, especially to me - who is at the very beginning of the DFW journey. If you can do it, then so can I.

Do you recommend Microsoft Money, by the way?

Its a bit like a central money system, where you can put all your bank accounts, all your debts with interest rates, and you can do a full budget on what you pay out and what you have coming in.

It will provide lots of lovely charts and graphs, work out how to snowball your debts so you pay off everything you owe in the best possible way, and it will forecast your spending over whatever time you ask it to, as well as telling you what bills you have coming up and what you need to pay. You can also download most banks statements directly into it making life so much easier !

Theres a free trial of it here http://www.microsoft.com/money/freetrial_info.mspx

But i got mine from ebay :)
