Sainsburys Nectar versus Tescos Clubcard

Don't know if this is the right place to post this - feel free to move if necessary -
It was only yesterday that I noticed such a huge discrepancy in the two reward schemes - I want to subscribe to BBC History magazine and have done before through Tescos Clubcard vouchers but this time I thought I'd also check Nectar points cos I have a few on a card - the cost of Nectar points is a whopping 6,200 points but with Tescos vouchers it's a paltry £10.80 - and through the Nectar calulator I worked out that, at my current weekly supermarket shop, it would take me 6 months shopping at Sainsburys to save enough to get the magazine but at Tescos it takes me about one month - anyone else noticed the huge difference between the two on other things?

You r right- there is no real comparison between them. the only good thing about nectar is that occasionally ford give 10000 points for a test drive0

I've never taken Nectar too seriously, taken me ages to build up a decent amount of points. Whereas with Tesco clubcard+ I've paid for a week in France in August for my family of 4. No comparison.0

I agree....Nectar points are just useless. I've only got 3000 over points from Nectar accumulated from my weekly shopping at Sainsbury's over the past year. On the other hand, I've got £10 worth of tesco clubcard deals just by doing minor shopping with Tesco once in a while.0
