Advice re Holiday win

Hi,
I had a phone call on the 25th sept to say I had won a holiday, wont go into too much as I cant wait to put in on IWIWIW just waiting for more detail.
They told me which comp it was from and that was it, then emailed me with a consent form so they could pass my details on and then asked if I would mind my name being put on their website.
I asked when I would know more detail and they said we'll be in touch shortly, its been a week since then.
Has anyone else won a holiday and had to wait for information? I just find it really strange that their not telling me anything about it.

I won a holiday comp in May. I got the initial email then nothing for 4 weeks. Then got an email from someone else saying they would take over. It took another 4 weeks and was passed onto someone else again then it took about 2 weeks for them to book. So 10 weeks in all. So I wouldn't worry too much! & well done

My hubby won a holiday to NYC last year and when he got the initial email he thought it was spam :rotfl:

About a week later he had more info and then nothing for a couple more weeks.

Waiting to hear more and get it booked was soooooo frustrating but eventually it was all booked and we went last month for our honeymoon :j:j:j

Frustrating waiting but well worth it!
