in Cutting tax
my husband has been in and out of work for last 6 yrs. Due to being made redundant a couple of times and a coupe of spells of sick leave.
I wrote a letter to the tax office on his behalf asking if we were due a tax rebate. They wrote back enclosing a form for him to give his employment history on. it took me 4 weeks of me nagging him to get him to complete it.
Well it paid off we got a cheque for £735 in the post today
it took around 4 months in all.
its worth writing a letter, u never know.:j
