Hiya,
Heading along to Half marathon in London on Sunday and hoping to take some sugary sweets for the runners, jelly babies and Haribo etc
Lowest I can find these bags are £1 in various shops, but I know they're often cheaper, 67p or 50p etc
Anyone seen any deals? Want to get a few bags spending as little money as possible! xxx

When you say runners, are they people with you? Because if you're taking sweets for complete strangers, there might be issues in case you've injected them.
You can get Tesco gummy sweets (wine gums/midget gems) at 3 bags for £2.50 - full sized bags; kids' smaller bags are 3 for £1; you'd have to compare each for £/100g to work out which was best.0 -

It's pretty normal practice for people to give them out, from the marathons we've run, they're always gratefully accepted!
Though if people are wary, of course they don't have to take them!
Another marathon in a few weeks, I look forward to the sweet support! haha
