Postal addresses and electoral register

I'd like to take out a loan of £10,000. My credit rating appears to be fine but I will fall at the address hurdle on application. I live out in the wilds and have used my business address for post. Therefore, whilst I have always been on the electoral register for where I live, it does not tie in with my bank/phone/credit card address. Which should I change? How long will it take to affect? and if I do will I weaken my rating by appearing to be on the run?!
Thank you for any info you can offer.
Michael
