I don't see the problem, he is being paid more often than direct debits go out not less.
As long as the money paid in is greater than that going out there is no problem but that is pretty basic.
you may get paid more often but you still have to budget 31 days of bills out of 28 days of money and sometimes that 13th payment, although 'spare' at the end of the year, makes a lot of difference in the here and now when you are budgeting
for example when i pay my childcare in the 6 weeks holidays i have to pay a pcm amount (31 days) out of a 4 weekly pay (28) @ £25 per day that is £75 more I have to pay in the here and now to have the luxury of that 13th pay. Its all relative but when you are counting the pennies trust me it makes a difference.
