Violinist for ceremony

We are trying to book a solo violinist for our wedding ceremony next year. Unfortunately the lady we were going to book has been booked for someone else's wedding.

I've looked online for others but I wondered if anyone had any recommendations for people?

The wedding will be held in Shropshire

In your shoes I might ask the lady you had in mind if she can recommend anyone. Failing that, I'd possibly go to an agency, go to local concerts to see if I like any violinists playing there or phone around local violin teachers to see if they've any connections/be interested. It might also be worth approaching a local music college to see if any of the student will play for you.

We found our musicians randomly through Google.
