Anyone not do FB & Twitter comps

I don't enter on FB or twitter & I feel as if my wins have totally dried up over the last few months. I know not to expect to win, but when I spend my evenings entering competitions with virtually nothing it gets a bit disheartening. Has anyone else noticed that wins have really virtually come to a halt? I don't know whether people have more success with FB & Twitter wins?? I'm starting to think that I've got a dodgy postman.
Nov - organix hamper & £50 tesco voucher
Jan - Boon Baby bath frog & bath toys
Feb - 2 cinema tickets

I do enter FB and Twitter comps but have never won on Facebook (except Instant Wins) and only a couple of wins on Twitter. Still seem to win quite a lot though...0 -
Out of my 74 total wins since I started, only 7 of them were from facebook and only 2 were from twitter, and I use both of them frequently to enter competitions.
I always think that the entries to both of these style of competitions are higher as they are easier to find, and easier to enter (simple 'like and share', or 'follow and retweet')
Try not to get disheartened and just keep plugging away!! It's a game of luck, and the more competitions you do, the more likely you are to win one. Thanks to all those lovely people who contribute to this website.

I do both but have won twice from twitter (in a year) and only once every few months on average from facebookproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

I enter both and have never won from Twitter and only once from Facebook - and that was over a year ago.0

I only started comping in July and have only won on facebook and twitter - so far mandara spa goody bag, weetabix family day out, denman hairbrushes, storm handbag, can of Boost, nail polish, Saint lager, iphone5 case and mystery gift which arrived today and is marmite fridge magnets! I would have given up by now if it wasn't for twitter and facebook.0

I'm not sure whether to give them a go or not. I'm just really put off by the thought of annoying my friends by blocking up their newsfeeds with my comps.Nov - organix hamper & £50 tesco voucher

I do both twitter and facebook comps. I've won from both.
I don't like the idea of bothering my friends either so I avoid the like and share facebook comps and always check 'only me' with the facebook apps. I don't have any real friends on Twitter though so i just follow and retweet away on there.
I think to win you need to be open to trying new things/sites/etc. I recently got a waterstones card purely for comping and since then I've won two books. I also recently got a Nectar card and then won 1000 points on it. I've also set up a Pinterest account because more comps seem to be turning up on there too.
I think joining up with these things is part of the 'work' you need to do to get wins.
Good luck
May you all have lots of luck, Emma xx0 -
I do both types of competitions. I have yet to win on Twitter but I have several on FB. They were all from apps rather than like and share comps.
Keep going and hopefully it will come. You'll have to speak up; I'm wearing a towel0 -
How did you go about getting a waterstones card as ive been wanting to get one now for a while?Nov - organix hamper & £50 tesco voucher

I'm exactly the same as purple skull - I only do the comps on facebook where I don't have to share (unless it's something I really want!) and make sure I set the app to "only me" so not to bug my friends. I just set up twitter and don't have any real friends on there so its easy enough to follow and retweet.
I may now go set up a pinterest account... I've not had a win for a while so I'm trying everything just now!!Thanks to everyone to contributes to the boards! :T0
