How little notice is too short notice?

Yippee I won a comp! Tickets to tomorrow's Pusher premiere in Hackney. It was a Twitter comp through a Digital Spy follow & RT.

They said I had won early this afternoon and asked me to PM them with name/email address. I did it immediately!

So here I am hours later and still no email confirmation - no details of the prize, venue, time, dress code, etc.

It was short notice anyway; to try to take time off work, arrange babysitters and organise travel but same day notification? Isn't that making it pretty much impossible for me to claim the prize? :mad:

I'm new to this so if anyone has similar experiences or suggestions of what to do (if anything?) I'd be interested to hear. I thought I would tweet them and ask for an alternative prize...

Finally and importantly though, thank you to the poster of this comp - not 100% sure if it came directly via MSE but always grateful for the effort you guys put into posting.

Are the details on the comp itself? Or a website relating to the premiere?

Can you find an email or tel no for them and contact them? I don't find they're very quick at sending stuff through. Sometimes the organisers forget people actually have to make arrangements.

From my experience, it'll be smart casual - not a huge black tie thing, and probably not a red carpet unless there's anyone particularly famous in it. If it's in Hackney, I'm guessing it's not a star studded cast.

Am sure a quick google can find a lot of the info out. Chase them in the meantime though!
