Telephone number credit rating
Options
Hi, We've been getting numerous calls for an unknown women, upon speaking to some of these cold callers, we've come to the conclusion that she owes them money.
We've had calls from RBS EOn and many others, looking for her, but she doesn't live in our house and never has and as far as I know has never had our number as we've been using it for the last 6 years and this has only started in the last 6 -9 months. I believe she has been giving these companies false information with a made up number that unfortunately happens to be ours.
So will this affect our credit score? does the information credit companies hold include phone numbers? I'm concerned as we need to move house in the next year and have always been good at paying our bills on time and I dont want to loose out because of some idiot.

No it won't affect your credit rating at all, or appear on your credit files.
Even if she had given your address as well as your number (which she obviously hasn't) it still wouldn't affect your credit files.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
