  • Hi, i've not posted for ages. we did a Full & Final IVA with help from my parents,(we are in the process of repaying them),i still sometimes wonder if we should have gone BR. it's v hard.

the stage you're at is frightening but you will get there - so good you have family support - talk to them!!!! I felt so vulerable(i'm disabled),so ashamed.

you will get this sorted out. if my husband get's in a mess again(happened before this time)i've told him i will go BR. the biggest thing is deciding what you want to do. i couldn't sleep, felt sick, had upset tummy - lost lots of weight, panic attacks etc. it was awful but things are better now. hang in there - you're not alone x

Beware of advice by PM if it is unsolicited
OBVIOUSLY aimed at me. FYI, the poster in question, (who I sent a PM too,) actually PM'd me FIRST, asking me some questions, before I sent them a PM.

I told them on here that I had sent one, so they didn't think I was ignoring them on here and so they could look out for my PM.

AND. I chose to send the reply only through PM, (and not on here,) as there was some personal information about me in the reply, that I am not prepared to share on here with everyone.

So I did not send an 'unsolicited' PM to the poster, and the help I gave was much appreciated by them.

That's fine. That is why I only said to beware of unsolicited PM's rather than all PM's
Hi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.

OK, thanks D.I.. Didn't mean to come across so sharp; I just felt like it was a direct attack against me. The poster did message me first though, and I just wanted to make that clear. A case of crossed wires...
