Cheap Mobile Phone works with the 3 network

hi,

i wanna buy a cheap mobile phone such as the NEC e313 or e228, basically a cheap mobile that works on the 3 network, pay as you go, under say around £20

3 have a policy of blocking SIM cards from other networks that are used in their phones and as far as I'm aware that policy also extends to blocking a 3 SIM card that is placed in a handset outwith the one which the SIM is registered to.

I could be completely wrong so I would check before hand with 3 as it'll cost you to get a replacement SIM if it does get blocked.

Last week I received one of the Three contract deals that I saw through this site (NEC e616). I'm fairly sure that somewhere in the documentation it says that you can only use a 3G sim card in a 3G phone and vice versa.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a 3G phone on pay as you go for £20 but I guess if anywhere this is the place you would find one.

thanks andy88 i tried it already i have tried all major phone shops, with no luck all out of stock and not likely to get them in due to the mobiles being discontinued.

sorry... from the way you worded the post I presumed you had a SIM card and were just looking for the handset

no lookind for both a mobile with a sim card on the 3 network.
