If the debt is actually yours, then the lack of a credit agreement doesn't normally mean that a default can be removed from your file.

Obviously, if the debt is not yours then issues with agreements are irrelevant anyway. The debt should not be on your credit report full stop.

So to have any chance of helping, you really need to explain more about the situation? For example: Is the debt yours? Or are you not sure? If yours, when was it and the account taken out? If yours, when did you default on payments? When did you last acknowledge the debt in writing or make a payment?

The way you have phrased the above, it would appear that you are not denying that the debt is yours. If it is yours, then you cannot get the debt removed from your credit file as it is legitimate.

so you have a debt, but dont want to pay it. the lenders does not have a signed agreement, however was it after 2007 opened?
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

If it's not your account, then Littlewoods must remove the info and default they have recorded on your credit file.

See page 19 onwards of this link on how to complain --> http://www.ico.gov.uk/for_the_public/topic_specific_guides/~/media/documents/library/Data_Protection/Practical_application/credit_explained_leaflet_2005.ashx

In any complaint, in addition to the ICO, also say that you wish to complain to the FOS and demand a copy of their complaints procedure.

You can also in addition record a dispute on the entry via the credit reference agency you see it on.
