Students' Discounts in Paris?

Hi - my student daughter has just moved to Paris for her 3rd year abroad & I wondered if there was a similar site to MSE in France?

Anywhere else to get useful info about discounts for students, clothes bargains etc.?

We already have student finance in place & she'll also be applying for an Erasmus grant when she's got her "Convention de Stage". Is there anything else she could be entitled to - perhaps on the French side?

I hope your daughter has long since applied for Erasmus funding as it has to be done before she goes abroad generally. If she really hasn't make sure she contacts the international office at her home university as a matter of urgency.
The key thing (depending on how much she's earning) to apply for in France is help with rent - ASL or Allocation Personnalis!e au Logement - APL which you get from the CAF (Caisse d’Allocation Familiale). I imagine there will be instructions on what to do in her year abroad handbook. Most student discounts tend to be with an ISIC card - you can apply online - just google carte ISIC. It ooesn't cost much and I think somewhere like Paris you'd soon recoup the cost.
