Can I freeze chard or any ideas what to use it in for cooking, don't want it to go to waste. Thanks

We don't buy it ourselves so I might not be of much help
but I'd just use it as a veggie on its own. Not very adventurous either
As for cooking it, I'd bring the saucepan of water until nearly boiling and immediately turn heat down and let it steam in the water for about 5 mins.

Edited to add, you asked about freezing as well, I'll read properly next time
I'd just cut into inch long strips, pop in freezer bag and freeze. This is the method I use for nearly all veg.0 -
Yup, I shred it and freeze it in freezer bags raw. It then works well as greens in stir fry and curry, I just chuck handfuls in from frozen and it defrosts in the pan.
It's good in omlettes, I make fritters with it in for the kids (flour, egg and milk to make a thick batter, then add whatever veg I've got hanging around in small pieces and fry in a medium pan - great for packed lunches!).0
