Ok, long story short.
I am hired by an agency to work for our client (as a contractor, which i have done for 11 years). Recently a job was advertised to FTE and to agency for a Permie contract within the company. For a role which i had done for the whole duration of my contract.
I was told through my management chain that my interview and experience was head and shoulders above everyone who had been interviewed. Yet HR hired internally due to head count challenges. Have i been discriminated against? I think by them advertising to agency and FTE, they should have treated all applicants equally. Yet i have been told that HR forced them to hire internally.
Advice... please be kind!
Thanks xx

There is no unlawful discrimination in appointing a current employee to a position, even more so when that there are "headcount challenges"0 -
Even if someone has more experience and actually performed better in the interview??0
