I had 3 credit cards in my DMP, House
HBOS froze the interest for the first two years, then started charging again saying they had done enough to help me (this went on I think for about year) and then froze it again and didnt charge again (The interest I WILL pay as I feel obliged to as they have given me a 9k loan for the last 11 years !)
Cahoot (now Robinson Way DCA) froze interest on day 1 and never charged a penny
Capital One, havent charged (so far) but I am waiting for a balance figure of them.
You maybe lucky and get them all frozen (I hope you do !).
Good luck for the future and get that DMP started, once you do and keep to the repayment schedule your creditors will leave you in peace, because after all your paying !.0 -
Hi Antonic, your numbers are pretty impressive, I am pleased for you that it is almost over

Thanks Hef !
Its been a LONG hard slog that hasnt always been easy, but with the support of my dad (both moral & financial) I am nearly there, and will NOT get into debt again.
Good luck to you also !0 -
Thanks, it is a long road, but I have learned so many good lessons on the way and the biggest one for me was learning how to budget well and not overspend, as I have no access to credit, it makes me value what I do buy so much more.
