Tesco Voucher Exchange

Hoping someone will be able to help me. I am trying to recall the previous deals/dates of the tesco voucher exchange from the last few years to see if there is a pattern.

I remember last year there was a voucher exchange promotion just after the clubcard vouchers were sent out in November (for me it was my chirstmas savers vouchers all at once) and we were able to use vouchers towards a new mobile phone using the voucher exchange scheme.

This year we are hoping and praying we can possibly use the scheme to pay towards an ipad. Does anyone remember if these were covered in previous exchange deals?

I know this years one could be completely different and cover different items or not even happen at all, but if there's the slightest chance we may be able to use the scheme for an ipad it would be brilliant for us, but we also need to be able to purchase it by 20th Nov (birthday present).

Any inside information??? Or any tesco clubcard experts that know the normal pattern??

I don't have any inside information and to be honest it would seem no one at Tescos knows anything about these even up until they are happening, a few may know within about a week or so but even then its hard to find anyone who knows anything!

I do know that they seem to do this around April and again nearer Christmas but as to the exact dates, these change massively. Last year there was a double-up offer starting the 4th April and ending just before May, this year it was almost a month later. An additional double-up offer happened around the summer months but last year there was no summer double-up at all so it does seem they chop and change things quite frequently.

Having said that I do remember Marin Lewis hinting at there being something happening around Christmas due to previous years and I can't see Tesco passing up an opportunity to hike up prices so they can haul in this offer BUT! Don't hold your breath eitherway.


Amazon usually have the best prices vs quality and once Tesco have raised prices theres not really a huge amount in it.

I bought an iPad 7 months ago. I checked dozens of shops, supermarkets and online sites and there was literally not one penny difference in price for the iPad.

However I had some problems with the charger lead and after a lot of hooha with Comet (where I bought it) I went to the local Apple store and they replaced it free of charge. Their list price was £15, the same item in Comet was £5. I checked carefully, it was the same product, the Comet one was not a "lookalike".

i think last year the voucher exchange was around november time which is when the next vouchers are due out. i'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway because i'm hoping to finish my xmas shopping with the voucher exchange.
