Sleeper train

I recently travelled on the sleeper in to Euston from Perth. On boarding the train we were advised that there were no lounge car facilities as it had broken down. I e-mailed Scotrail on my return and advised them that I felt they had failed to provide the service I had paid quite a lot of monet for. They replied that due to operational requirements they felt it better to run the train without a lounge rather than cancel the train and they did not think any form of compensation was required. Should I let it go at that or should I push a bit more? Thanks

I guess if you keep trying you might get a voucher to spend in the lounge car (if it's open) next time you use the sleeper, although I suspect they may have the situation covered in their T&Cs.0
