hmmm interesting. ive always rather felt sorry for Kerry despite her rather brash persona, she seems a bit of a disaster monger with her bad relationships and drug problems and other stuff, which i can truly sympathize with. but. im working up to declaring bankrupcy when i can raise the fees and probably after house repossession - i wish i could live that sort of lifestyle rather than having to buy happy shopper beans for tea!

I appreciate that BR is individual, but there is a part of me that wonders why Martin Freeman didn't pay it so that his partner could avoid all the emotional stress, etc that comes with it.

Actor Paul Bhattacharjee was declared bankrupt three days before his body was found near cliffs after he disappeared from a London theatre, it has been reported.
The Casino Royale star's body was found in Seaford, Essex, two days after he went missing on July 10.
High Court records show he had attended a bankruptcy hearing on the previous day and that his case had been adjourned from April 30.

    :(:(:(:(golly :(
  • I've meant to ask this a load of times but why did she end up bankrupt twice? Surely the first time the debts would have been cleared? Or did she rack up massive debts a second time? Or was there tax issues not resolved from the first time?

I would say she has a clever accountant that knows how to use the rules like big corporations use to avoid tax .
She always has plenty of money, big luxury houses and a fleet of luxury cars, so she or her accountant are not as daft as people think.

Her agent is also a genius, they have kept her at the forefront of TV and media for years, she was only a backing singer in a minor hit girl band.
    Be happy...;)
  • I could never understand that either, she was on 'Through the Keyhole' on TV the other week and they showed viewers around her current home.......palace is not the word, its huge and very luxurious. I don't understand how she can afford that. Things that appear like that give BR such a bad name for being an easy get out.

Unbelievable how such a talentless, irresponsible person is still able to earn more money than the average person can dream of. If there was any justice in this world she would be working behind the till in Iceland not doing their adverts.

KK doesn't own the house she lives in or the car she drives, her management agency do and she just has use of them. Hence being able to continue living there despite the BR.
