    Cruising
Dec 16th on the beautiful Allure of the Seas fly home from Fort Lauderdale
Xmas afternoon.Who are you cruising with may bump into each other.

we too are cruising on the 16th Dec from Fort Lauderdale but on the Holland America MV Westerdam - ours is a 14 day cruise so we get in on the 30th and then will drive up to Orlando to see our daughter for a week - flying home 6th Jan.
We will be in Fort Lauderdale on the 14th Dec for a couple of nights before the cruise starts - still got to book a hotel and car hire but getting there.

It was mentioned a few times, but I think you have a fairly good reason for not keeping up to date

    thanks:o :)
Tesco is piloting ‘scan as you shop’ technology, a ‘broccoli cam’ that alerts staff to gaps in produce and electronic shelf-edge labels; while Clarke’s plans have galvanised staff

broccoli cam makes me :rotfl::rotfl: Electronic SELs  something I have been waiting for, for ages. More glitches/misprices caused by it? I hope so:D

Not sure if this was said (probably wasn't due to sada crazy) but I read that Mr T are going to introduce something similar to fast track like Mr S, aka scan and pack as you go.

Now you might think so what? But with a scanner in your hand you will not have to worry about price check machines not working in store! or asking staff to price check. you can find misprices easily etc:p then claim DTD:D:D

Tesco already have these in some stores. If you use them you need to be careful though. I've had a couple of occasions when the hand-held scanner has given a different price to the till. Also, if you scan items and cancel them (looking for a glitch etc) a few times it flags you up for a random bag check when paying.
  • I love the way this thread seems so back on track - almost glad the glitch is finished and so many of the old faithful are back posting - long may it last - anything exciting happening at Tosco's - feel I have been neglecting them lol!!
  • Woo hoo all caught up

I wonder if Mr T has a comment on Mr A's disaster

Well tbh for me this ranks a little down the ranks for me as glitches go.

    1. Old R&R T policy
2.H&B clubcard points coupons & nappy coupons
    3. Last years DTD T scheme
    4. Argos glitch with online vouchers
    5. Hukd and fb/amazon promotion
    6. ASOS online voucher glitch 2 years running just before Xmas - fingers crossed for this year.
    7. APG glitch

Id personally rank it a bit higher but as far as work goes you cant beat a good online glitch, bargains without leaving the sofa.

I actually sold a top on ebay last weekend from the ASOS glitch that I never wore:eek:

Now that we are almost back to normal, isn't it time for HC to put in an appearance?
