Seeing as the glitch is over now should I leave the thread?! I don't really want to, you lot are rather amusing :D so can I stay pretty please?

    Promise I'll be good....;)

You promise to be good and you want to stay on this thread - the two do NOT go together :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Are you utterly insane? Do you like a juicy bit of goss? Are you happy to sit in front of your computer and feel like you are being wrapped in a warm comfortable blanket? If you answer yes to all the above then welcome home! :)

As for all the "goss" with neighbours running off together, I have a confusing story from a few years back. A mother (A), father(A) and daughter(A) used to run a shop, and there was a couple(B) with a young daughter. The mother(A) ran off with one of my neighbours' sons, the daughter(A) went off with the father(B) of the young daughter, the mother(B) ran off with the father(A) of the older daughter. As for the young daughter, she was too young to run off with anyone but I felt seriously sorry for her. :( And try explaining that to your dd who was friends with the young girl :rotfl::rotfl:

I have to agree with you, we've been filling between 2 and 5 of these for the past 6 years for these guys each Xmas. I feel that this is the least we can do for these guys and I for one am happy to do this.
When BIL was stationed over Xmas one year we asked was there anyone in his group who didn't recieve any mail throughout the year who would like a wee surprise, that year we filled an extra 3 just to send to them. DS got very nice letters from each of the guys, they were so glad that someone thought of them.

Go on make a serviceman or woman happy this Xmas, it's worth it :D

BFPO addresses - the postal rates are the same as for 1 st class inland mail
