    Afternoon
nice bit of sunshine here,am just having a catchup whilst Auntielal has a little sleep (first few days after chemo leave her feeling a bit fatigued,)but it gives me a chance to nip out to my favourite shops and off load a few vouchers ;)am building her up a nice little stock of lenor and picking up a few nice whoopsies along the way :T

love and hugs to you all.

3dogs so nice to see you spending time in Portsmouth with your friends you really are doing so well bless you x

Well, I came down here 2 weeks ago today intending to stay for a long weekend, but stayed the following week as the roads were so bad with the heavy rain, etc. I have rang the kennels 3 times now to lenghten the dogs' stay  Today I rang them to say I will pick them up on Monday morning and then take them straight to the groomers as they are booked in for 'the full works' at 11am. That way they are nice and clean for coming home, as they do have that, 'lived outside' smell when they come back otherwise  So I HAVE to go home on Sunday ;)

I hope Auntielala is coping ok with the chemo - she is lucky to have you :A
It wasn't a typical email from Asda. There was some very personal stuff involved. I'm saying nothing about that. Sorry.
If people want to call me "silly" and indicate me a liar then carry on doing so. It's very easy to contend with when you know 100% that you are in the right. I recieved a very long email today which was very detailed and personal in content. It was an also an apology giving an explanation from their side of what the situation was. I quoted a paragraph from that email verbatim. Anyone smart enough may have noted the type and size of print of that paragraph was different to my own. I thought I was contributing but if people just want to snipe then do me a favour and put me on your ignore list.

I don't have an ignore list :p I don't believe in using that feature. I'd rather know what people are saying, even if I don't agree with it or don't like it

Yep me too, altho the glitches tempt me sorely away from lowcarb....cereal! :eek

By the way went to A's last night and managed to get another Finish dishwasher 84 pack lemon for a fiver. Billy bargain and they're still out there. Were on a pallet in the washing up aisle.

Also got APG for deo's & fish fingers and used a couple of mocs in a separate transaction.

    Afternoon all! :D

Well I need to play catch up again from this morning, just for a change! But I just wanted to come on and say thanks again for the kind words.
My day has changed considerably from this morning - I feel so happy and I know it will sound silly but, well I can't describe it, just at peace so to speak.

My appointment with the nurse went really well, my carbon monoxide levels were 1! :j Still have a way to go on Champix though as I'd totally forgotten it's a 12 week course, no worries though as the nurse is happy for me to drop down to 1 tablet a day if the side affects persist. :D

Horse riding was fantastic! :j I had a fab lesson and some key things really clicked for me today. It's so different learning now from when I originally learnt, and much more hard work!
But today was just great despite the aches and pains :rotfl:

Now, my Grandad was always so proud of my horse riding, dancing etc, everything I'd done, and even though I'd not done anything for years I still remember him telling the nurses I was a fantastic dancer and horse rider (they were the things I loved the most)... anyway, as I was coming round the riding school feeling happy as I'd just mastered something and the lesson was over, there was the brightest and biggest rainbow, it was beautiful! Even my instructor was amazed by it.

I know it may sound silly, but it just felt like my grandad was there, saying what he said to me in my dream and that as always he's proud of me :A and once again I followed the rainbow all the way home :) This time I didn't feel sad and upset, just happy and warm and crying tears of happiness.
May sound silly to some but that's what I believe rainbow.gif

We took this snap from our holiday balcony as we remembered you mentioning the rainbow in past posts .

It gets repeated when others quote their posts. So you get to see it anyway
