How do you know what shop Asda will compare against?

I was going to buy 2 x 2ltr bottles of pepsi in Asda for £1 ea as I know they are on offer at Tesco for 89p. But I was too nervous in case it forced the comparison to go elsewhere potentially losing me apg.

Made this mistake mixing J20 with a shop and trying to avoid it happening again.

You just need to have done some research and checked what the prices are then make sure you have more items in your shop that will give the result at the shop you want to compare to - if you want the pepsi have a look and see what else that you would buy is also on offer at T and get them at the same time. It sounds hard but you soon get the hang of checking prices - and lots of people put up to date prices on here so you can see what other items give a good return. Make a list so you have your 8 items (I always buy 11 just incase) and don't add impulse buys unless you know what they cost in the other supermarket. You also will get to remember what the cheap items are that won't interfere with the comparison (I think there is a link to Miss Laids list on first page)

Sorry if I have made it as clear as mud

I think I may have to get some Maltesers tonight, and a few other bits and bobs, then go to Ts for all my freebies (vouchers are burning a hole in my pocket).
I am in full agreement with the vote C of T.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.
