    evening all...:D

just trying to catch up quick before I pop out and do a quick As shop before hubby goes out!

noticed a couple of people saying that bogof offers arent working on apg.....well it was for me last week (and I posted to confirm this!)...I bought the Kleenex balsam (80 pack) 2 for £3 at A, or £2.40 bogof in W......it compared at the correct prices ie £3 at A and £2.40 in W.... so I think only the 3for2 offers have been 'blocked' :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

    Evening all
Not caught up yet from this morning so assume everyone knows the lynx is comparing with the dove against tesco.
I did a small shop this morning to test it then did three larger ones this afternoon for which I've not had the results back yet.

I am also now a member of the 4p sunglasses club and I found a mini chopper which definitely wasn't there last week, so still worth checking your stores.

My nearest T's have hardly any perfumes, but I spotted a Britney Spears gift set marked at £16 with an asterisk.....so took a chance on it being reduced and hey presto!!! Even better.....it went through at £40 so I was paid £8 to take it away :T:T

    No horror mix though :(

Hope everyone else has found some bargains :)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

How was Italy...especially Pompeii?..sounds fascinating, on my list of places to visit.

:D Gemini it was fabulous. Lovely small cheap hotel (45 rooms) in a good central position in Sorrento. Didn't have a pool which I did miss :( plus there isn't a beach - instead they have 'bathing platforms' which you pay €10 to have a sunbed & parasol on.
The hotel food was amazing. 4 courses every night & the best course was the different pasta dishes :)
Only a 5 minute walk to train station. 13 stops to Pompeii for €2.10 :D & €11 entrance. Compared to Thomsons trip at €35 each :eek: excluding entrance fee
Sorrento was full of good shops, from high end like Armani down to knick knack shops in the 'drain'. Everything was Made in Italy rather than Made in China tat. Lots of Limoncello & lemon soap :)
We will return as we still have to go over to Capri (€12) & Naples.
Also the town was heaving with American tourists from cruise ships that dock for the day.
We first noticed on the flight out that there were no children  & we seemed to be the youngest on the plane. The average age of the tourists was 60+
will add some pics when I've loaded them to PC. Have a few I can post from my phone & I'm sure we can get Fourp to post his 'movie' of the ice cream parlour :)

Hi all. Haven't posted for a couple of days, as I've been away.

I'd gone to a lot of trouble arranging tickets to a tv show my Dad likes, booked hotels, drove over 250 miles each way on 2 successive days including picking him up at home and dropping him off - and the swine still picks a fight with me!   . I'm feeling very upset and annoyed because he was saying exactly the same nasty things about me he used to say when I was a child. They weren't true then and they're not true now, so I put up with it for a while then let rip till he shut up. I'm not going to bother trying to take him anywhere from now on, they say no good deed goes unpunished.

OH says he's not going to change this late in the day and I know that's true, but injustice always rankles. :(

I'm off to have a skim read and try and catch up, I see there's a new glitch of some kind :).

I'm really sorry your dads made you feel like this. Family's isn't always all that its cracked up to be. I know it's really hard and he's your dad and all that, but do you really need this? I have very similar problems with my family. I really feel for you. You should listen to your OH :)
