Ah gutted to see it is all over :(
But on a positive note it was a damn good glitch and I have got enough cereal to last a year, enough cleaning stuff to last a couple of years, enough kipling cakes to last a few weeks, enough cheese to last till xmas and enough chocolate rice pudding to keep my hubby happy for a while longer :rotfl:

    Afternoon all!

(((hugs))) to all those feeling ill, I too have SADA 'flu :( which is now in my chest instead of my nose, wish it would bog off as I'm thoroughly sick of feeling so carp!

On a good note though, I've heard back from my local Foodbank and they accept non-food stuff so I will be sorting out the As own-brand stuff and maybe a few other bits from the glitch and dropping it over at some point :D

Morning everyone, thanks for the new thread:beer:
Barely kept up with the last thread but will try harder, only done a couple of online As shops but thanks everyone for all your hard work and info
And while I'm thanking, since finding you all about 15 months ago, I have saved so much money, have a healthy stash of everything I would never have been able to afford and cupboards and freezers stuffed with food, so thanks to you all and my DHs hard work we officially became debt free yesterday :T:T
Its an amazing feeling to know that every penny he makes now is ours (apart from normal household bills). Not only have we managed to pay all our debts of early, we have a nice chunk of cash for DSs 21st in a few weeks, paid our flights to America for xmas and have all our spending money ready to go! So thank you all from the bottom of our hearts xx

EDIT: Did mean to respond to this!

    VERY WELL DONE!!!!!

*chucks another log on the fire aand puts 3dogs coat there to dry out*
    * pushes soggy doggys out of the way and toasts a flump*

Argh, thanks hun. I don't mind the smell of wet doggies though, I am used to it ;). I must point out that, glitch over or not, I will still be eating flumps - I am addicted :j :j

I remember it well as I got told by a SA that it was coming on the Monday, so I spent the next 4 days going to every tesco store within 30 miles and just going from 1 to the next to the next for the whole 4 days!! I still have loads of stuff in the attic from then inc washing powder, kitchen cleaners, loo rolls etc etc......
