Sainsburys this morning - I did a slow trawl of the aisle, loads of household stuff on sale, some things ideal as Christmas presents or as part of pamper hampers eg photo frames with a beaten bronze effect. Also good if you have some spare nectar points to pay for things.

Also on the stationery section loads of different types of notebook reduced eg shopping lists for 29p, various sizes with wire spiral edge for 29 p, 89 p etc. again ideal as part of pamper hampers and also good if you were stuck for a theme eg one type had city names on so good for a travellers hamper, another had jelly beans so good for a sweet tooth persons hamper, some just plain brown so a good one for a blokes hamper, floral ones for mums, Nannas, aunties etc
Also saw a very cute brown notebook with a moleskin type cover, looked very smart - think I have to go back for this one for eldest s bf as he has very expensive tastes so I think I am going to do him a goodie bag of posh looking items

I also did a slow walk up and down the aisle looking for red sale tickets but the best ones I found were in the freezer ice cream section.
By standing on the bottom shelf I managed to get the final 2 posh coffee Italian gelato tubs for 50 p each right at the very back of the top shelf. On the very bottom shelf I found Sainsburys own brand boxes of 20 assorted ice lollies, 2014 expiry date, for 51p - I have now got 60 lollies hidden all over the freezer :rotfl:

Other ones to look out for
    Nestl! munches barcode 0776 35 p
    Row trees sour pastille s bc 1353 62 p
    Ice cream cake 0227 75 p

The cake is in quite a solid box so you need plenty of freezer space for this, may 2013 date on the ones in my store so I good freezer filler.

Went to S yesterday and they had frozen bbq chicken drumsticks reduced to £1.24, date on them is Jan '2014 and frozen jumbo bbq chipotle pork sausages (box of 4) reduced to 50p (box of 4) date April '13. Also Reeces peanut butter cups, nutrageous bars and the bags of pieces for 29p each. Sorry if posted before. Off to play catch up again.

Please can I ask if you have barcodes of the peanut cups and the bars - we're these the same brand?

We're these on the normal sections or in the reduced section?

    Good Morning all.

Internet and phone haven't been working properly for the last few days. May work for a few minutes then goes off again and will be a few hours before it works again. BT have been working in the street, all the lines have been 'crushed' being underground cables are more difficult to maintain. Anyhow BT guy just knocked door and said shouldn't have any more problems now!
