I'm just hoping the other products are still generating a coupon tomorrow. Or that there is still some Andrex there tomorrow with the offer on it.
Did any locals get some today and was there much left? (4 Pack)
Many Thanks
the current promo runs until the cop tommorow...when the new one begins!!:DDon't worry Locarr, I'm still here :heartpuls
Here you go vanilla, my banana loaf;
4 ripe bananas
12 tablespoons vegetable oil
200g sugar
440g plain flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
4 eggs
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
Mush bananas and add oil and eggs, I like it a smooth paste rather than chunks but that's preference. Add vanilla extract too, then add flour, baking powder and sugar. Mix well and pour into a loaf tin. I use parchment opposed to greasing the tin. Bake for 1 hour at 150deg for fan assisted or 180deg.
Chuck in some chic chips one day, delish!

Also............. it doesn't help when you post things like... oh.. we've helped all these newbies, and they disappeared.. bla bla bla... and we are still all here, waiting to pounce.. but are too worried that you lot will think we are invading the place.. after all, if you read back.. there are more posts from the regulars saying they are glad the thread is back to normal than there are, saying that they miss us.. You excluded of course.. add an apg to that and another vodka ta. or..if you prefer.... a packet of porridge!0 -

We toured all the way around the island camping and had several trips into the interior. Places you must go:
Myvatn nature baths - so much better than the blue lagoon, which is just runoff from the power plant. Myvatn baths are proper "just coming out of the ground hot springs" water. When we went, in July it snowed a bit while we were swimming which was great.
Askja, a crater in the interior filled with bluey coloured water, which was a bit too cold to swim in, but you can swim in the crater next to it.
Climb a glacier, loads to choose from. We went snowmobiling on Vatnajokull, great fun.
Jokulsarlon, the mini iceberg filled lake, just West of Vatnajokull. They
filmed scenes from tomb Raider and James Bond there. Take a boat trip around the icebergs, which is a bit touristy but fun.(just west of here there is an unsignposted lake, but you'll see it on your map, which is a bit less grand than Jokullsarlon, but you can see the icebergs too, and if you are lucky an iceberg being calved from the glacier).
There's loads of touristy things around Reykjavik like waterfalls and the Thingvellir national park. I'm happy to give ideas if you let me know what sort of stuff you want to do.
Thankyou so much for all the helpful replies. So I now know its well worth a visit. Thinking of 3 nights staying in Reykjavik and kids would love to pack activities in. What would be feasible with so little time. Must do a hot spring type thing plus something icebergy and would like to see the lights. Are we central to these types of things. TIA xCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Anyone been to Iceland, would be interested to here what it's like ? Thinking of a trip there with family. Like the sound of the hot pools and northern lights x
we went last year enroute to Canada, stayed 2 nights in Rekyavik. It was very expensive, but a great stopover. Blue Lagoon was incredible, did the golden circle tour which was great. no northern lights for us as it was summer and 24 hour daylight. We took our 2 girls aged 3 & 5 at the time and they loved it. Loads of great info and advice here: http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowForum-g189952-i223-Iceland.html0 -
Good evening everyone :hello:
While in Tesco tonight checking out the reductions, my daughter was getting bored so I suggested she went to scan some clothes to see if she could find anything cheapshe only came back with a lovely pair of leggings , priced at £5 but scanned at £2  :T they are black patterned, age 10 to 11 years. These weren't in the sale, just with all the normal priced clothing. barcode 772093
