  • Odeon and Harvester embrace Apple Passbook with vouchers
Odeon cinemas and Harvester restaurants in the UK are one of the first companies to embrace Apple's new Passbook feature in iOS 6.
The cinema chain is allowing people who visit their website to add a 30 per cent off voucher to the Passbook app at the click of a button rather than insist users install a dedicated app.
Users that opt to add the voucher to their iPhone will be able to claim the money off between Sunday and Thursday uptil the 18 October for any movie excluding Madagascar 3 (don't ask us why).
Meanwhile Harvester is offering people money off when they show the Passbook coupon after visiting the Harvester website.

might be some help to someone.

30% of odeon cinemas for sunday to thursday. valid till 18/10/12
£5 off £30 spend at harvester valid till 20/10/12

    How interesting.....
This receipt is from 13/09 before i knew the ways around the £100 per month limit avoidance tricks. It came up with an APG of £27 but said as I had reached my limit for the month i could only have £17. So I kept it back for 1st Oct presuming it was a new month and would give me the whole voucher (this was before the capping and the fix obviously)
I forgot to put it through again on 01/10 and was dismayed then when it was fixed.
So I just put it thru again using the new barcode method and its given me exactly the same results! Which is indeed a result as I was expecting nothing:T:T:T

The £15 capping? That's not gone. They are honouring apgs over £15 that were bought before Sunday.

What this does illustrate though, is that leaving it until the next month (if you have reached the £100 limit) does not give you the full value of the apg. Not great news, but still good to know.:T
