Wombled a dog on my way home from work this morning
It followed me when i had crossed main road.
When i got in a safe spot away from main road i called it to me and it came had collar on and address.was a scruffy thin wet looking thing.
Phoned number and owner answered dog had been missing think she said 4 days was in hysterics it had travelled from near Halifax she asked if i could hold onto Noodles til she got dressed and down. :j
She picked it up 20 mins ago i had fed and given him a drink and had him locked in kitchen. He was good sat there shivering all time. My Poppy wasnt very happy didnt let them meet.
Got offered a fiver but i refused was just happy Noodles found his mummy. Poor woman looked like she had been crying on way down and Noodles nearly jumped in her arms wagging his tail. :T :j
Ahhh Tweets that is so lovely, so nice to hear a happy ending:T:TJust read that out to MrLala and it put a smile on his face too:)
Afternoon everyone, busy, busy working today so only just catching up. Have managed to get quite a few nice 4p bits:Tbut I have got a major obsession with Lenor at the moment:oI just can't resist picking up a "Free" bottle everytime I got to T's(Using one car coupon and one magazine one) I just can't leave it there;)Busy weekend and then dropping Nannylala in Weymouth on Sunday but will go via a few T's and A's;)
Saw a few stories about missing keys when I have been catching up and it looks like yesterday was the day for losing them. DS lost his uni room key!!so will be billed £30 for a new one, he then promptly locked the new one in his room and had to get the porter back again with a master key to let him in again:eek::eek::eek:Extreme intelligence but no savvy my DS;):rotfl:Beware!!!! fab tweets. 2 of my cats walked in and never walked out again. we tried to find their ownwers but no one claimed them.
Made me chuckle as my little cat is suddenly turning his nose up at food - he's not ill, but it has occurred (never been able to spell that!!) to us that maybe someone else is feeding him. He spends a lot of the day out too, when he used to curl up asleep all day.0 -
How long are you both down for Nanny? Did you see my post that me and Dodo are meeting next week? The more the merrier.
Thankyou Tiny for the invite:T but Lala is taking me down on sunday and coming back the same day reason being Nannylala does not drive an Auntielala is having her chemo next week so out of action for a few days, but perhaps next time as I shall be there for some time.0 -
'afternoon all. Haven't been shopping in a while, was on nights last week, days this week, back on nights next week... Good thing I had loads of home cooked meals in the freezer, otherwise I'd be starving by now.
Made a shopping list with the stuff I need from the supermarket, but was hoping to find some of the 4p bargains as well (if my local hasn't taken them all off the shelves by now - they're pretty good at doing that). Other than bikinis, what else might I look for?

I just skyped my OH the tale of Noodles and tweets, and he skyped me back to ask whether we were now opening a dog rescue service on the thread on top of everything else! :rotfl: I told him we're the fourth emergency service
.
I love that:TThe 4th emergency service:)Very true though, yesterdays discussion were all about Anti Virus and malwarebytes and now I've saved a small fortune and sorted all our computers and lappies out:T:THow long are you both down for Nanny? Did you see my post that me and Dodo are meeting next week? The more the merrier.
